Luke 1:41 – “And when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, the baby leaped in her womb. And Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.”
John the Baptist leaped for joy in the womb when Mary came to visit Elizabeth. Reflect today on the joy that comes from the presence of Jesus. How can you allow the joy of Christ’s presence to fill your heart this Advent? How can you share this joy with others, especially those who may need encouragement and hope during this Christmas season?
Lord, help me to be filled with the joy of Your presence, just as John the Baptist was. May I share this joy with others, especially those who need hope this Christmas.
