Romans 14:8 – “For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s.”
The souls in Purgatory belong to the Lord, and they are being purified so that they may enter into His eternal presence. Reflect today on the importance of praying for these souls, trusting that they are in God’s hands. How can you live with this trust in God’s care, knowing that whether you live or die, you belong to the Lord?
Lord, I pray for the souls in Purgatory, trusting that they belong to You. Help me to live with the trust that I am always in Your care, whether in life or in death.
