Isaiah 66:13 – “As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you; you shall be comforted in Jerusalem.”
God’s promise of comfort is compared to the comfort of a mother. Mary, as our spiritual mother, offers us this same comfort. Reflect today on how you can turn to Mary for maternal comfort and guidance in times of sorrow. How can you trust in her loving care, knowing that she brings the comfort of God to those who seek her help?
Immaculate Heart of Mary, comfort me in my times of sorrow with your loving care. Help me to trust in your maternal comfort and guidance as you lead me closer to God.
