Luke 2:25 – “Now there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon, and this man was righteous and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him.”
Simeon waited patiently for the coming of the Messiah, trusting in God’s promise. Reflect today on how you can follow Simeon’s example of faith and patience, trusting in God’s timing and plan for your life. How can you continue to wait with hope for the fulfillment of God’s promises, even when the wait seems long or difficult?
Lord, help me to follow Simeon’s example of faith and patience. May I trust in Your timing and wait with hope for the fulfillment of Your promises in my life.
