Matthew 1:23 – “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call His name Immanuel (which means, God with us).”
The name “Immanuel” means “God with us,” and the birth of Jesus is the fulfillment of God’s promise to dwell with His people. Reflect today on the gift of God’s presence in your life. How can you embrace the reality of “God with us” this Advent, recognizing that Jesus is present in every moment and every aspect of your life?
Lord, thank You for the gift of Your presence through Jesus, Immanuel. Help me to recognize that You are with me always and to live in the joy of Your presence this Advent.
