Matthew 5:8 – “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.”
The souls in Purgatory are being purified so that they may see God face to face. Reflect today on the hope that comes from knowing that these souls are being prepared for eternal joy. How can you offer your prayers for their purification, asking God to purify their hearts so that they may enter into the fullness of His presence and see Him face to face?
Lord, I pray for the souls in Purgatory, that they may be purified in heart and prepared to see You face to face in the joy of heaven. Bring them into Your eternal presence.
