John 5:24 – “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes Him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.”
The souls in Purgatory are being prepared to pass from death to eternal life. Reflect today on how this promise of eternal life brings hope and how you can offer your prayers for those souls who are awaiting their final purification. How can you also trust in God’s promise of eternal life for yourself, living with faith and hope in His word?
Lord, I trust in Your promise of eternal life. I pray for the souls in Purgatory, that they may pass from death to life and enter into the fullness of Your joy.
