Matthew 5:4 – “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.”
The souls in Purgatory are blessed, for they will soon be comforted by the joy of heaven. Reflect today on the hope that comes from knowing that God will bring comfort and joy to the souls who mourn in Purgatory. How can you offer your prayers for their comfort, trusting that God will soon wipe away their tears and bring them into eternal joy?
Lord, I pray for the souls in Purgatory, that they may find comfort in Your promise of eternal joy. Wipe away their tears and bring them into the glory of heaven.
