John 14:2-3 – “In my Father’s house are many rooms… And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.”
Jesus has prepared a place for us in heaven, and the souls in Purgatory are being prepared to enter that place. Reflect today on the hope that this promise brings and the importance of praying for the souls who are awaiting their entry into the Father’s house. How can you offer your prayers to assist them in reaching the room that Jesus has prepared for them?
Lord, thank You for preparing a place for me in heaven. I pray for the souls in Purgatory, that they may soon enter into the home You have prepared for them.
