John 20:17 – “Jesus said to her, ‘Do not cling to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to my brothers and say to them, “I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.”‘”
The Ascension of Jesus is the second Glorious Mystery. Reflect today on how Jesus returned to the Father, opening the way for us to share in His glory. How can you live with the hope of heaven, following Jesus’ example and trusting that He has prepared a place for you in His Father’s house? How can you meditate on this mystery with gratitude for the gift of eternal life?
Lord, help me to live with the hope of heaven, trusting in Your promise that You have prepared a place for me in Your Father’s house, and following Your example of faith and love.
