John 19:2 – “And the soldiers twisted together a crown of thorns and put it on His head and arrayed Him in a purple robe.”
The Crowning with Thorns is the third Sorrowful Mystery. Reflect today on how Jesus endured mockery and humiliation for our sake, accepting the crown of thorns in love and humility. How can you meditate on this mystery and grow in humility, following Jesus’ example of love even in the face of suffering and humiliation?
Lord, help me to follow Your example of humility and love, accepting my own sufferings with patience and trust in Your plan for my life, just as You did with the crown of thorns.
